Chrome; Safari Add to Dock on supported macOS- Open the research desk in Chrome, or Safari on a supported macOS version.
- In Chrome, use Install in the address bar. In Safari, choose File → Add to Dock when available.
- Open the app from your Dock or application launcher.
Linux
Google Chrome or another PWA-capable browser- Open the research desk in Google Chrome.
- Choose Install in the address bar or the browser menu. Installation support varies by browser and distribution.
- Find Catalyst Feed in your desktop app launcher.
iPhone & iPad
Safari- Open the research desk in Safari.
- Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Enable Open as Web App if offered.
- Launch Catalyst Feed from your Home Screen.
Android
Chrome- Open the research desk in Chrome.
- Tap the menu, then Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Open Catalyst Feed from your home screen or app launcher.
Web & Chromebook
Modern browser- Open the research desk. No installation or account is required for the public beta.
- Bookmark the page, or use the browser’s install option when offered.
- An internet connection is required for current research.
What installation does—and doesn’t do.
Your bookmarks stay in this browser’s local storage. They don’t sync across devices. There are no background push alerts yet. If the internet drops, the app shows an offline notice instead of outdated market information.
iPhone/iPad/Mac native builds are in testing. Native Android, Windows and Linux releases are not available. No store listing is implied.
